At 17, with Class 12 exams a week away, Priti Savla underwent emergency spinal surgery. Her father negotiated with the HSC Board - and she appeared for every paper lying on a bed, transported by ambulance. She cleared with first-class distinction.
A friend's suggestion during recovery led her to the CA course. She qualified in January 2000 - appeared for CA Finals in November, married fellow CA Paras Savla in December, received results in January. They built KPB & Associates entirely on ethics, integrity, discipline, and commitment.
Twenty-five years later: 13 board positions, a seat in Geneva setting global sustainability standards, and India's highest offices in chartered accountancy.
"The signature of a CA carries the weight of public trust - and we must never treat it as anything less"
